Art is longing. You never arrive, but you keep going in the hope you will.
The world always seems brighter when you've just made something
that wasn't there before.
Vasundhara Prakash lives in Delhi, a city she does not specially fancy. Having left her job at a design studio a few years ago, she creates her art for herself and to be able to share the joy of it with the world.
Her method of using fragments, memories and moods is purely intuitive. The only conscious effort is to move away from the confines of predictability. Each work has it’s own hidden story; it’s own secret life.
